Veterans Affairs Hospitals

The VA has awarded HistoSonics a $90 million contract to bring histotripsy to VA hospitals across the United States, with systems expected to be available at select VA medical centers beginning in 2025. This is particularly significant since veterans experience liver cancer at a rate five times greater than the general U.S. population.
